D8 I knew Ashman died too soon in the Disney Renissance, but I didn’t know it was from HIV. God bless his talented soul.
Your analysis of LM was very insightful. For a while, I thought of the film as being “I sold my soul for a vagina, and I man I just met!” and a downgrade to the concept of the original fairytale, but now I appreciate it better as a reversal role in a female “damsel in distress,” with Eric being more helpless than Ariel.

Great video this was the next part I was looking forward to the most and you did not disappoint. I love all your Epic Mickey videos but to be honest it seems your going a little more into Disney history rather than compare and contrast. Im not complaining at all these are great videos of the Disney industry. Keep up the great work!!!

I remember hearing that Katzenberg wanted “Part of Your World” to be cut out of The Little Mermaid.

Good thing he didn’t get his way on that one. That song really is integral to that story.
